Gambler Since: There are fond memories of taking the Niners over the Bengals in Super Bowl XXIII, but the wager was limited to a TOPPS Future Star Al Leiter error card (Beckett value at the time, approx. $5.00). Rev did not begin to put money on games until the late Nineties, but limited his wagers to single-digits or "just enough to make it interesting." This prudent practice, with a few notable exceptions, has pretty much remained in place to this day.

Handicapper Since: Are you kidding? Even Rev rarely puts his money where his (very large) mouth is, much less anybody else. No, Rev leaves the prognostication to the experts, and avoids the embarrassment of having to explain why so-and-so failed to cover, again.

Biography: Rev (formerly known as Ren) is a longtime member of the F2 and has recently begun to make his sporadic contributions in the form of the wildly popular "R3" editorial series (Reverend's Random Rumblings) wherein he takes a current sports story and supplies his very own, often really just his own-shared-with-no-other-sane-individual, opinion. During the 2005 campaign, in search of a new identity, the man formerly known as Ren submitted himself to an online "name the Ren" contest on the G2, allowing fans and readers everywhere to choose his new persona. The G2 staff welcomes Rev as a featured columnist.
